Jumper Cables
We’ve all been there before – you turn the key in the ignition and nothing happens. A dead battery can spell serious trouble for you . Our Jumper cables selection can help ensure that if your battery dies, you have a way to get your car up and running so you can make it to the shop. Our booster cable solutions come in a variety of capacities, ranging from simple 150 amp options to more powerful 250 amp, 400 amp and 500 amp jumper cables. This ensures that you can jump off any capacity battery, from smaller options to heavy duty marine and RV batteries.
We also carry Battery Terminal Cleaners for those terminals that need a good cleaning.

How to Jump Start a Car
The battery in your car is an extremely important component. Caring for it properly will ensure a longer life and better reliability, but there may come a time when it leaves you stranded. Knowing how to use jumper cables to jump off your battery is an important consideration.
Before you start, make sure that you clean the battery terminals and posts using a terminal cleaner. This will ensure the best contact and conductivity. Next up, you will need to attach the booster cables (both cars should be off during this). Attach the negative booster cables to both batteries first – the black leads. Only after they have been attached should you attach the positive jumper cables.
When the jumper cables are firmly attached to both batteries, crank your car. Do not leave the other car running, as this can cause damage. If your car does not crank immediately, allow it a few minutes to build up a charge in the battery and try again. Once your car starts, do not turn it off for several minutes. In fact, it’s advised that you drive it for about 20 minutes to give the charging system a chance to recharge the battery. The best option is to take your vehicle to a repair center to have the battery and charging system tested (and replaced if necessary).
